Growing MSP based in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with a robust focus on O365. The role will be 2 days from home and 3 from the office and requires someone who has experience working across Level 3 BAU and Projects.

The role

You will split your time between BAU support and project delivery. You’ll be the go-to technical lead for O365 and Intune, driving reliable operations, automation, and successful migrations/implementations across clients.

Key responsibilities
Lead BAU support for Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD) and Intune endpoint management.
Design, implement and optimise Intune device and application management policies (Windows, iOS, Android, macOS).
Deliver M365/Intune projects: migrations, new tenancy setups, device lifecycle, conditional access and Zero Trust controls.
Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
Create runbooks, automation (PowerShell/Graph),



monitoring and reporting to improve operational efficiency.
Lead technical workshops, stakeholder engagement and handovers to BAU.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical governance and best-practice guidance.
Maintain security/compliance posture: Conditional Access, MFA

Required skills & experience
5+ years’ experience in systems engineering or senior support roles.
Deep hands on experience with Microsoft 365 suite and Intune (device compliance, app deployment, configuration profiles, autopilot).
Robust Azure AD knowledge (conditional access, identity protection, hybrid identity).
Networking
Firewalls
Proven experience delivering M365/Intune projects and migrations.
PowerShell scripting and familiarity with Microsoft Graph API or automation tooling.
Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Robust stakeholder, client-facing and mentoring experience.
