An exceptional prospect is available for an experienced Senior Project Architect to join a highly regarded design practice delivering major sports, stadium and entertainment projects.

Working alongside accomplished Design Directors and senior sector leaders, you will lead multidisciplinary project teams from concept design through documentation, approvals and construction. This is a senior role for an architect who combines design sensitivity with robust technical knowledge, project leadership and client-facing capability.

As Project Architect, you will be responsible for leading the successful design and delivery of complex sports and entertainment projects.

Your responsibilities will include
Leading teams of architects and designers across all project stages
Translating design intent into coordinated, technically resolved and constructible outcomes
Managing communication between clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal project teams
Overseeing the production of drawings, specifications and construction documentation
Maintaining a high standard of design, documentation and technical quality
Resolving complex design, compliance and construction issues
Managing RFIs, submittals and substitution requests during construction




Liaising with relevant authorities throughout the approvals and construction process
Guiding project teams on local and national building codes
Monitoring project programmes, deliverables and financial performance
Reviewing and contributing to proposals, contracts and project planning
Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
Mentoring and developing junior and intermediate team members

About You
Registration as an Architect in Australia preferred
10+ years of relevant architectural experience
A proven track record delivering stadiums, training facilities, sports precincts or entertainment venues
Experience taking complex projects from concept design through to construction completion
Advanced proficiency in Revit
Strong capability across 3D modelling, visualisation and graphic presentation software
Experience across the complete project lifecycle, including post-occupancy
The ability to lead concurrent projects at different stages of development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid leadership, team management and client relationship capabilities
