DWS is seeking a Senior Java Developer with proven banking experience to join a major greenfield transformation program within a leading Australian financial services organisation. This role will suit an experienced Java professional with robust Microservices expertise and proven Cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure. Previous banking experience is essential. Significant professional experience as a Java Developer
Previous banking or financial services experience is essential
Robust experience designing and developing Microservices architectures
Strong Cloud experience across AWS and/or Azure
Extensive experience with Spring and Spring Boot
Strong knowledge of building and integrating REST APIs
Experience with source code repositories such as Git
CI/CD experience using tools such as Jenkins and/or GitLab
Containerisation experience using Docker
AngularJS, JavaScript and/or TypeScript exposure
DevOps mindset and contemporary engineering practices
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk
Understanding of API best practices and API Gateway concepts
