About the role

We are a well-established scaffolding company based in Logan area looking for a reliable and hardworking Scaffolding Yardman and scaffold labour to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and organisation of our scaffolding yard, prepare the order, including receiving, sorting, checking, loading and unloading scaffolding materials and equipment.

Key responsibilities
Prepare the order, receive, unload and organise scaffolding materials and equipment
Sort, stack and maintain scaffolding components in the yard
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Operate a forklift to move scaffolding materials around the yard
Check incoming and returned materials for damage, condition and quantity
Prepare scaffolding materials for upcoming projects
Keep the yard clean, tidy and well organised
Assist with loading trucks for site deliveries and collections
Identify damaged or missing equipment and report issues to management
Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

About you




Current Forklift Licence (LF) – essential
White Card – essential
Previous scaffolding yard or construction industry experience highly regarded
Positive understanding of scaffolding materials and components preferred
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Good communication and a positive attitude
Strong attention to detail
Able to work independently and take initiative
Commitment to workplace safety
