Role Description
As a Sous Chef at The Kingfish Honeysuckle, you will play the pivotal role in our culinary team. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
Supervising and mentoring kitchen staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient team.
Managing inventory, ordering, and quality control.
Upholding food safety and sanitation standards.
Contribute to seasonal specials.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess:
Passion for seafood and a deep understanding of various seafood cooking techniques.
Proven experience in a Sous chef role or Senior CDP, preferably in a seafood-focused establishment.
Exceptional culinary skills and creativity.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a quick-paced kitchen environment.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Certificate III in commercial cookery
