We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in a full time capacity. This is a key leadership role supporting our Head Chef and kitchen operations ensuring consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, service and food safety.

With a 250-seat restaurant and multipurpose function room, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a strong, supportive team.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar role or a robust Chef de Partie ready to take the next step in their career
Relevant trade qualifications and a current Food Safety certificate
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a kitchen team
Excellent time management, organisation and problem-solving skills
High standards of food safety, cleanliness and kitchen hygiene
A strong attention to detail and commitment to consistently delivering quality food in a fast-paced environment
Experience with food ordering, stock control, stocktake,



food costing and menu planning
Experience assisting with staff rostering and workforce planning
The ability to confidently lead a service and maintain standards during busy periods
Experience across all sections, including grill, pans and larder
Function and high-volume catering experience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams
A positive, skilled attitude with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

The Role: This is a full-time position and requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
