Moruya Medical Centre is a 8 doctor General Practitioner Surgery located in Moruya on the NSW South Coast. Also known as the Nature Coast, Moruya is located in close proximity to the beaches and hinterland.

Position profile:

Provide a complementary role to the General Practitioners of this clinic and to provide nursing care to patients presenting at the General Practice. Under the General Practitioners direction provide a variety of services that enhance the quality of patient care.

Provide supportive clinical care and be part of a larger multi-disciplinary team with a focus on improving health outcomes for our patients.

Duties include:

Provide clinical nursing services in this practice through triage, assessment, therapeutic care and treatment and clinical data management. Provide care in the General Practice setting as well as other community settings as the need arises.



Identify and provide comprehensive physical, psychosocial and emotional care for individuals and groups.

Improve health outcomes by contributing to and enhancing the management and prevention of ill health through health screening, immunisations, recall and reminder systems, patient education, systems management and acute chronic disease management.

Key Criteria:

Current Registration. Experience working in a Primary Care Setting. Work as part of a team. Excellent communication skills with patients, families and members of the General Practice team. Qualified Nurse Immuniser.
