The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to take ownership of the day-to-day site operations for a multi-residential/commercial construction project. Working closely with the Director, you will play a key role in coordinating trades, managing site activities and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, on program and to a high standard.
Core Duties
Manage and coordinate all day-to-day site activities.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
Monitor construction progress against the project program and key milestones.
Coordinate deliveries, materials, plant and site logistics.
Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
Maintain high standards of WHS, site cleanliness and presentation.
Identify and resolve site issues proactively.
Work closely with the Director, providing regular updates, on site progress and key issues.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
Maintain accurate site records, documentation and daily reporting.
Ensure construction activities are effectively sequenced and the project remains on schedule.
About You
Proven experience of 3yrs + as a Site Supervisor within multi-residential and/or commercial construction.
Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and site coordination.
Confident managing multiple trades and subcontractors.
Solid leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach to site challenges.
High attention to detail with a robust commitment to quality and safety.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Solid understanding of WHS requirements and construction standards.
Trade qualification and/or relevant construction qualifications highly regarded, Certificate IV in Building and Construction / Diploma of Building and Construction
Reliable, qualified and committed to delivering a quality project from start to finish.
Current White Card and valid Driver’s Licence essential.
