Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will play a key leadership role in daily quarry operations, ensuring safety, production efficiency, and high-quality output. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong operational experience and a passion for leading people in a dynamic quarry environment.
This role is located in Fernvale, QLD.
Responsibilities
Manage safety across site, ensuring compliance with legislation and Adbri safety standards.
Monitor plant performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Support maintenance planning and ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently.
Foster a positive team culture built on communication, accountability, and respect.
What You Will Need To Succeed
Previous supervisory or leading-hand experience in quarrying, mining, or heavy industry
Commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Certificate 4 in Surface Operations Management
Diploma in Surface Operations Management is desirable but not essential.
RSHQ SSE Notice desirable but not essential.
