Long Term Contract Role

Our client is a world leader in the manufacturing of chemicals and scientific products. They employ thousands of people in R&D; facilities across the globe and are committed to developing innovations that will make a difference to our world. They are currently seeking a Project Engineer for a long-term contract role (with the view to permanency) in their manufacturing facility based in North West Sydney.

Duties include
Project planning, ensuring timely completion and to specification.
Providing support to Project Managers.
Travel to local and international sites to supervise the installation of equipment.
Providing support and guidance to the company’s distributors, OEM’s and strategic partners.
Reviewing project drawings and liaising with the design team.
Selection of equipment components on suitability, price and availability.




Preparation of bills of materials as directed.
Preparation and issuing of specifications, analysing quotes and issuing purchase requisitions.
Preparation of data for progress / contract reviews.

Ideally you will have
Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
A current passport and ability to travel locally and internationally at short notice.
The ability to work under minimal supervision and be self-driven.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
