Our Client is seeking experienced Program Managers to provide strategic leadership across major ICT programs within a large federal government setting. These roles will oversee the planning, governance, delivery, and coordination of complex technology initiatives while ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex ICT programs, ensuring delivery of strategic objectives, business benefits, and outcomes.
Oversee multiple projects, manage interdependencies, and act as the primary escalation point for Project Managers.
Deliver program-level reporting, including financials, milestones, achievements, risks, and issues.
Support project teams through governance processes, project boards, architecture reviews, and delivery forums.
Champion Agile and iterative delivery approaches across program initiatives.
Monitor and review program scope, schedules, costs, risks, and perks realisation.
Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, standards, and departmental practices.
Coordinate organisational change management activities and resource planning.




Develop and present high-quality program communications, status updates, and executive reporting.

Essential Skills &

Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience delivering ICT projects and programs of varying size and complexity.
Proven experience managing multiple projects or large-scale programs.
Strong background working within complex ICT environments.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and collaboration skills.
Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise and persuasive documentation.
Experience leading teams, mentoring staff, and driving successful delivery outcomes.
Minimum active NV1 Security Clearance.

Additionally valuable Skills & Experience
Experience working within complex global ICT environments.
Experience delivering secure government systems.
Knowledge of government legislation, compliance frameworks, and security standards, including the Privacy Act, PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight, and Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
Experience across related disciplines such as business analysis, organisational change management, testing, applications, infrastructure engineering, or support services.
