We are partnering with a growing financial services organisation seeking an experienced Credit Risk Manager to play a key role in the management and enhancement of its credit risk framework.
This position will be responsible for providing independent oversight of credit risk across lending portfolios, supporting strategic decision-making, monitoring portfolio performance, and ensuring credit risk practices align with risk appetite and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and assess portfolio performance, identifying emerging risks, trends, concentrations and areas requiring management action.
Develop, review and enhance credit risk policies, frameworks, standards and procedures.
Provide second-line oversight and challenge to credit decisioning, underwriting and portfolio management activities.




Deliver insightful credit risk reporting, including risk appetite metrics, portfolio analytics and management information.
Support stress testing, scenario analysis and portfolio reviews.
Partner with business stakeholders to improve risk management practices while supporting commercial objectives.
Assess current products, policy changes and strategic initiatives from a credit risk perspective.
Support internal audit, regulatory reviews and risk governance activities.
Prepare papers and reporting for executive management, risk committees and senior stakeholders.
Monitor compliance with risk appetite, lending standards and regulatory requirements.

About You
Demonstrated experience in a Credit Risk Manager, Senior Credit Risk Analyst, Portfolio Risk Manager or similar role.
Strong knowledge of consumer, commercial, SME or asset finance lending.
