We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Sydney. You will manage day-to-day financial transactions, process payroll, and ensure our accounts are accurate and up to date. You will work closely with our management team and external accountants.
Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process day to day branch expenses.
Reconcile bank statements and credit cards.
Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
Manage payroll, superannuation, and single touch payroll (STP) compliance.
Maintain clean and orderly financial records.
Assist with month-end reporting and financial summaries.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper in Australia.
Knowledge of Tencia accounting software a perk.
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (preferred).
Solid understanding of GST, PAYG, and Australian tax compliance.
Great attention to detail and strong time management skills.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
