Production Coordinator – Schoolwear, Melbourne | Full-time | Garment Production

We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join an established and growing schoolwear business. This is a hands‑on role coordinating garment production from pre‑production samples through to bulk delivery, working closely with overseas suppliers and internal sales teams.

The role
Manage a high volume of production orders and pre‑production samples annually
Coordinate production across an approved supplier base in China and Vietnam
Review production documentation, approvals, pricing and supplier allocations
Monitor production milestones, identify risks and proactively manage delivery timelines
Coordinate seasonal, high-volume production cycles
Build robust relationships with overseas suppliers and internal sales teams
Assist with quality issues, replenishment orders and freight coordination
Contribute to improving production processes,



systems and workflow consistency

About you
Previous experience in garment production
Direct experience in schoolwear or uniform manufacturing
Robust understanding of the end‑to‑end garment production lifecycle
Experience managing pre‑production samples and bulk production orders
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident managing multiple orders and competing deadlines
Transparent, calm and proactive communication style
Fluent Chinese or Vietnamese would be highly regarded
