We are seeking a caring, reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to clients and assist them to live safely and independently.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities.
Support clients with community access, appointments and social activities.
Encourage independence and support individual goals.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow individual support plans and safety procedures.
Complete progress notes and report any concerns or incidents.
Maintain client dignity, privacy and qualified boundaries.
About You
Previous experience in disability, aged care or community support is desirable.
Caring, patient and respectful attitude.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual and responsible.
Relevant qualifications and NDIS Worker Screening Check where required.
First Aid/CPR and driver's licence may be required depending on the role.
Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
