Working within our busy production team, you will be responsible for the accurate folding and forming of a variety of aluminium and steel components used in the manufacture of specialised vehicle bodies.
Key responsibilities
Operating CNC brake press machinery safely and efficiently
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
Setting up tooling and machine programs for various jobs
Producing components to exact specifications and tolerances
Conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
Working collaboratively with fabrication, welding and assembly teams
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
About you
Previous experience operating CNC brake press machinery
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Excellent problem-solving skills
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to workplace health and safety
Experience within the metal fabrication or manufacturing industry will be highly regarded
