Introduction:

Daydream Island Resort & Living Reef is located in the heart of Queensland’s Whitsunday Islands and the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Outstanding Barrier Reef. The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride to work each day.

Description:
Greet guests and provide information about available watersports activities
Assist guests in selecting appropriate watersports equipment and gear
Conduct safety briefings and provide instructions to guests before they embark on watersport activities
Monitor and ensure the safety of guests participating in watersport activities including swimming, snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding
Offer assistance and guidance to guests as needed during their watersport adventures
Maintain an inventory of equipment and report any damaged or missing items




Follow safety protocols and respond effectively in emergency situations
Promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the guest experience

This role is a live off poisition.

Skills and Experiences:
Previous experience in waters ports or a similar role
Genuine passion for water sports
Knowledge of local water conditions and marine life is an advantage
Exceptional customer service and shows initiative
Exceptional time management, whilst ensuring high attention to detail
Proven ability to follow safety work practices
Must holds current qualifications - First Aid, CPR, Advanced Resuscitation & O2 provider
Australian Coxswain grade III (or international equivalent to transfer to AMSA) and previous sailing experience is highly regarded
Must be eligible to work in Australia
