Role Description The Pool Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Cronulla, NSW, responsible for the day-to-day care and maintenance of swimming pools. Typical tasks include testing and balancing water chemistry, cleaning pool surfaces and filters, vacuuming pools, and checking equipment such as pumps, chlorinators, and heaters. The role involves identifying issues, performing minor repairs, and reporting more complex problems to management or specialist technicians. The Pool Technician will travel between client sites, maintain service logs, and provide explicit,



courteous communication to customers about pool condition and recommended services. This position requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and handling physical tasks such as lifting equipment and supplies.

Qualifications
Practical skills in pool cleaning, water testing, and basic equipment maintenance, with the ability to follow safety procedures.
Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues in clear, easy terms.
Valuable physical fitness and comfort working outdoors, with the ability to lift, carry, and move tools, chemicals, and equipment safely.
Organizational skills to manage schedules, record service details accurately, and work independently across multiple locations.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to attend on-site appointments in Cronulla and surrounding areas.
Previous experience in pool care, facilities maintenance, or a similar trade is beneficial but not mandatory; training may be provided.
Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices, including safe handling and storage of pool chemicals.
