The business has a solid reputation in the market, a solid base of repeat clients and a healthy pipeline of secured and upcoming work. Projects typically range from $5m–$50m, with a mix of commercial, education, industrial and institutional work.

They have an experienced delivery team in place and are looking to strengthen their estimating function as workload continues to grow.

About the Role
Joining its pre-construction team, you’ll be involved across the full tender process, working closely with senior management, delivery teams, subcontractors and consultants to produce accurate, competitive submissions.

Responsibilities include:
Reviewing tender documentation and project scope
Quantity take-offs and cost planning
Subcontractor and supplier enquiries
Quote analysis and levelling
Identifying scope gaps, risk and commercial exposure




Preparing tender clarifications and exclusions
Assessing buildability and value-engineering opportunities
Preparing tender submissions and handover documentation
Working with the delivery team following award

About You
4+ years’ estimating experience with an Australian commercial builder
Experience tendering commercial projects ideally $5m+
Robust subcontractor and supplier network
Confident analysing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
Solid understanding of construction methodology and buildability
Able to manage multiple tenders and deadlines independently
Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar qualification preferred

$140k–$180k + super, depending on experience
