The Opportunity
SEE Civil is a certified Great Place to Work, and we're looking for an experienced Civil Leading Hand to join our high-performing infrastructure team.

This is a hands-on leadership role on major road and civil infrastructure projects across the South Gold Coast and Northern NSW. You'll lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, and help deliver high-quality outcomes safely, on time, and to specification.

Responsibilities
Lead daily site operations and construction activities for road and civil works
Supervise and mentor a crew of labourers and plant operators
Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and materials to meet programme targets
Read and interpret construction plans and drawings
Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safety and QA standards
Maintain site diaries, records, and quality documentation
Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and clients

Essential Skills and Attributes
Proven experience as a Leading Hand in civil construction, ideally on road, earthworks, or subdivision projects
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications




Strong safety mindset with the initiative to lead by example
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Current Driver's Licence and Construction White Card (essential)
Additional tickets (e.g. stabilisation, Cert III/IV in Civil Construction) highly regarded
