About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Data Entry Assistant to join our team at our Smithfield office for an immediate start. This is a full-time position (5 days a week) that will play an essential role in inputting, updating, and maintaining data across our SAP platform. The Data Entry role is crucial to supporting our operational efficiency and ensuring that all information is accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately inputting data into SAP from various sources, including documents, forms and electronic records
Performing regular quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Maintaining organised and secure filing systems, both physical and digital
Processing and managing administrative documentation efficiently
Verifying data for deficiencies or errors and correcting entries as necessary
Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly data entry targets and deadlines
Following established data entry protocols and company procedures to maintain consistency
Liaising with other departments to clarify data requirements and resolve discrepancies
Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies
What We're Looking For
Experience in data entry or a similar administrative role
Experience using SAP software is preferred
Excellent typing speed with a high degree of accuracy
Robust organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Positive communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
Basic understanding of database management systems
Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to changing requirements
