Operate a variety of mobile plant in a civil construction setting
Prepare and correctly position mobile plant to undertake a variety of tasks
Undertake labouring and other related tasks when required
Select, fit and remove relevant attachments such as buckets, winches, loading scoop, shovel blades and rock breaking hammers.
Undertake excavation, breaking drilling, leveling, compacting and loading materials with precision.
Take verbal instruction from supervisors and interpret project drawings.
Set out and utilise Topcon GPS equipment to obtain levels and ensure accuracy of the task.
Undertaking general maintenance on mobile plant including, lubricating, cleaning, refueling and other minor adjustments/repairs
Previous experience operating a variety of mobile plant on civil construction projects
Understanding and competently operate Topcon GPS or other relevant software
General knowledge of mobile plant including maintenance requirements and how to conduct a pre-start.
Understanding of WHS requirements and ability to interpret and follow Protected Work Method Statements (SWMS)
Work within a team and communicate with others effectively.
Hold machinery tickets to demonstrate competency
White Card/Blue Card
Current drivers licence and own transport
Ability to FIFO to remote locations for work
