Use your mechanical knowledge and contemporary equipment to diagnose faults in an array of different type of earthmoving equipment.
Conduct and meet scheduled maintenance expectations to maximize the lifespan and useability of our equipment.
Repair, overhaul, tune and test different areas of the fleet in a qualified and timely manner.
Develop a robust understanding of our Truck and Trailer fleet and meet maintenance requirements.
Repair and maintain hydraulic components of diesel, petrol and gas engines that are used to power a selection of attachments.
Utilise Oxy, Electric, TIG and MIG welding, hand fitting or alternative machinery processes to replace or repair faulty parts.
Contribute to a safe workplace by identifying and reporting hazards, championing a clean workshop and participate in work health and safety discussions.
Undertaking field servicing and repairs across multiple civil construction project sites, including travel to remote locations.
Complete relevant documentation required to record machinery inspection, repairs and services to the industry standard.
Take ownership and control of your working week, plan and work with the workshop team to ensure optimal efficiency.
Australian heavy vehicle trade qualification or overseas equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
Ability to utilise specific instruments to detect mechanical and electrical faults
Strong understanding of earthmoving equipment, truck and trailer, and other specialised equipment vital to our industry.
Proficient in delivery a wide range of servicing and repairs
Current drivers licence, own transport & ability to travel away for work on occasion
Safety orientated and ability to contribute to a positive workplace culture
Willingness to follow secure work guidelines and wear the correct PPE
