This is a hands‑on role for someone who can manage social media accounts from strategy through to execution, planning content, attending client shoots, filming, editing, writing captions, scheduling posts and maintaining strong client relationships.
You will work across a diverse portfolio of established brands and have the chance to take ownership of the social/content department and grow with the agency.
Key responsibilities
Manage social media accounts for a portfolio of clients across multiple industries
Develop monthly social media and content plans
Plan, coordinate and attend client content shoots
Film and produce high-quality short‑form video and photography
Edit Reels, Tik Toks, social videos and other digital content
Write captions and social copy aligned with each client's brand
Schedule, publish and manage content across Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and other platforms
Manage the full content lifecycle from concept through to delivery
Communicate directly with clients, organise shoots and manage approvals
Monitor content performance and identify opportunities to improve results
About you
Proven experience managing business or brand social media accounts
Robust short‑form video filming and editing skills
Excellent understanding of Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and current social trends
Strong eye for content, branding, composition and storytelling
Confident communicating directly with clients
Highly organised and capable of managing multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
Comfortable taking ownership of accounts rather than waiting for constant direction
Strong written communication and caption‑writing ability
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a creative team
Comfortable attending client locations for content shoots around the Gold Coast and surrounding areas
