Technical 4 - Remuneration Package Range $112,402 - $122,995 (Including salary $95,096 - $104,205)Technical 5 - Remuneration Package Range $126,522 - $137,577 (Including salary $107,238 - $116,744)Civil Services Palmerston, DarwinOngoing vacancy is available Selection will be made at the T4 or T5 level depending on the experience and qualifications of the successful applicant.Deliver civil infrastructure projects that support the Northern TerritoryAbout the RoleThe Department of Logistics and Infrastructure is seeking an experienced civil construction professional to support the development and delivery of civil infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory.
Based in Palmerston, this role sits within Civil Services and contributes to the delivery of Minor New Works, Specific Maintenance and Capital Works projects.
Depending on the level appointed, the successful applicant will manage assigned projects, undertake site representative duties, support procurement and contract management activities, and provide technical advice to ensure project outcomes are delivered safely, effectively and to the required standard.Working as part of a small, highly skilled and agile team, you will be involved in the delivery of civil construction projects on the Minor New Works and Specific Maintenance programs, and technical support for the delivery of Capital Works projects.
The successful applicant will be part of a project team,



working on a portfolio of projects independently as either the Superintendents Representative/Nominee or project Site Representative.
Everyday duties in project management, quality control and providing technical advice to others in the department.About YouExperience supporting or managing civil construction, road, maintenance or infrastructure projectsSound judgement and attention to detail in construction, contract and project management activitiesConfidence working with contractors, consultants, stakeholders and technical teamsStrong communication skills and the ability to prepare clear project, procurement and contract documentationSound knowledge of civil construction practices, standards and regulatory requirementsA genuine interest in delivering infrastructure that supports communities across the TerritoryThis is a great chance for a civil construction professional looking to apply their technical knowledge in a practical project delivery environment, while contributing to infrastructure that supports roads, services and communities across the Northern Territory.The Benefits12% superannuation6 weeks recreation leave + 3 days Christmas shutdown3 weeks personal leave17.5% annual leave loadingThe Work EnvironmentThis role is based in Palmerston and involve fieldbased work.
