Aquinas College wishes to appoint a dynamic, forward- thinking and suitably qualified Laboratory Manager to our Science Learning Area team, commencing in Term ****** (or as soon as possible).
This will initially be a fixed term contract with the opportunity for ongoing.The successful applicant will be responsible for leading the day to day operation of our Science laboratories, including the supervision and organisation of laboratory staff and equipment/ assets to ensure operations are complementary to a vibrant teaching and learning environment.The successful candidate will have:a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of childrenrelevant post-secondary qualifications and a minimum of 5 years laboratory experienceexperience in leading or supervising a teama robust interest in supporting students' learninga working knowledge of current OH&S; legislationthe ability to work independently and as a leader of a teamthe ability to prioritise and organise taskscurrent WWCC and Victorian Police Check (or prepared to obtain them)relevant permissions to work in AustraliaThe successful applicant will be appointed following a salary assessment according to theCatholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement (CEMEA) ****.Aquinas College promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.To apply – Interested applicants should apply via the Aquinas College website.
