The Role
In this role, the successful candidate will work directly with the founder to accelerate the evolution of systems originally built in-house, with a focus on scaling backend infrastructure and delivering critical features that support front-line recruiting teams.
Requirements
6+ years of backend engineering experience (with production-grade systems)
- Strong expertise in Python and Django
Experience building applications that leverage GenAI APIs (e.g. OpenRouter, OpenAI,



etc.)Uses Cursor/Claude by default and has built strong workflows to balance quality with productivityStrong communication skills and ability to work across time zonesExperience working independently in a remote-first workplace

Background in a high-growth startup environmentExperience mentoring or helping other engineers growFamiliarity with implementing testing frameworks to ensure code qualityFull-stack development experience in addition to backend expertise
