As one of South Australia's largest and fastest-growing councils, the work you do will help safeguard our people, services, and community.Why this role mattersAs a Risk Specialist, you will support the ongoing implementation and continuous improvement of Council's Integrated Risk Management Framework and Crisis Management Response Framework.
Working across a diverse organisation, you will partner with leaders and stakeholders to strengthen risk awareness, improve organisational capability, and support preparedness for emerging challenges and critical incidents.The OpportunitySupport the implementation, development and review of Council's Integrated Risk Management Framework and Crisis Management Response FrameworkProvide practical advice and support on risk management and crisis management mattersDeliver key risk and crisis management activities in line with legislative requirements and organisational prioritiesDevelop resources, training and guidance to build risk capability across the organisationPrepare quality reports, correspondence and documentation for management, Council and relevant committeesBuild strong partnerships to ensure risk management practices remain fit for purpose and support organisational goalsWho you areExperience in risk management, governance, compliance,
