Behind our success is a high-performing Finance Team that plays a critical role in supporting sound financial management, compliance and informed business decision-making across the Group.We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our close-knit Finance team and contribute to the ongoing success of one of Australia's leading hospitality and entertainment organisations.Recent graduates and early-career accounting professionals are encouraged to apply.About the RoleReporting to the Head of Finance, the Accountant will play an important role in supporting the Group's financial reporting and month-end processes while ensuring accurate financial records, compliance and reporting standards are maintained.This position offers exposure to a diverse and complex business environment, where no two days are the same.
You will work collaboratively across multiple departments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance business performance and financial processes.Key responsibilities include:Managing revenue recognition processes for both internal and external tenants, including billing, reimbursements,



payment receipts and account reconciliationsProcessing and reconciling event invoicing, deposits and associated balance sheet accountsPreparing and reconciling daily cash, EFTPOS and gaming transactionsCompleting bank reconciliations and monitoring daily cash movementsProcessing month-end accruals, adjustments and journal entriesPreparing and maintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliationsAssisting with the preparation and review of financial reports and providing commentary where requiredMonitoring and allocating customer receipts across various revenue streamsSupporting debtor management and aged receivables processesPreparing BAS statements and supporting tax compliance requirementsProcessing merchant receipts and refundsAssisting with audit preparation and overall financial compliance activitiesIdentifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and month-end reporting efficienciesProviding support across the Finance Team on various projects and ad hoc tasksAbout YouYou are a motivated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.




You have excellent attention to detail and a genuine commitment to continuous improvement.To be successful in this role, you will have:Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or a related disciplineCPA or CA qualification (or currently working towards completion) highly regardedMinimum 2-3 years' experience in an Accountant or similar Finance roleAustralian Citizenship or Permanent ResidencySound understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and relevant accounting standardsStrong reconciliation experience and high-level numerical skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with accounting systemsExperience supporting month-end close processes and financial reporting activitiesStrong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy under pressureExcellent problem-solving, organisational and time management skillsAbility to prioritise competing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsWhy Join Us?
