Supporting more than 250 clients across metropolitan and regional Victoria and only continuing to grow, we want the people who join us to also believe disability support should enable a life of independence and dignityTo do a great job, you'll need:Good judgement and common sense, listening skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to our valuesExperience in personal care (showering and dressing) assistance with domestic dutiesExperience supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities, Behaviours of Concern and Autism Spectrum Disorder not essentialExperience with medication managementExperience with catheter care, peg feeding, hoisting and bowel care would be an advantage but not essentialHave great patience and be willing to put in the time and energy to build rapport with your clientEnthusiasm and passion for supporting people with disabilities to live great lives.Commitment to working with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals.
For example,



supporting our clients to complete a regular physiotherapy programFull drivers licence and be willing and comfortable with providing transport in your own vehicle sometimes (we reimburse you for costs)Willing to work varied shifts with varied hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends together with some short shifts, sleepovers and active night shifts.
We also need you to be able to commit to ongoing shifts, based on your availability.
