We are looking for a Guest Service Agent to join the Front Office Department at Novotel Melbourne on Collins.Provide passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to external and internal guests at all timesGreet all guests that come into contact with the Front Office department in a friendly manner, ensuring that the guest name is used at all timesAssist guest with all enquiries and Complaints and provide accurate information to guests about property fecilities and featuresHandling call volume and maintaining phone etiquetteRotating shifts and rostersTake reservations as required in the absence of the Reservations TeamRotating shifts and RostersThe physical aspects of the role which include but are not limited to; standing, occasional lifting and carrying, occasional pushing, pulling,



ascending or descending stairsPrior experience working with Opera Cloud preferedYour experience and skills include:The ability to work a adaptable 7-day roster.Exemplary written and verbal communication skillsWell-presented with a natural ability to build rapport both in person and over the telephoneStrong focus and passion for hotel operationsAbility to deliver excellent customer serviceAbility to provide prompt and efficient service including upselling advantageousSelf-motivated with positive and professional attitudeTime management skills with the ability to multitaskFlexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to changePrior experience working with Opera or a related systemFluency in EnglishAdditional languages are a plus
