About the Role
As a Clinical Coding Support Officer, you will provide essential administrative and reception support to our Clinical Coding Department.
Working closely with a team of experienced Clinical Coders, you will help ensure the smooth management of patient information, support departmental workflows and contribute to the hospital's commitment to outstanding patient care.
You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team where your organisational skills and attention to detail will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Clinical Coding team,
including data entry and document managementManage reception duties and respond to incoming enquiries for the Clinical Coding DepartmentMaintain patient records and files with a high level of accuracy and confidentialityAssist with the management of medical records using WebPAS and pathology databasesPrepare reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft ExcelLiaise with various hospital departments to support effective communication and workflowPerform general office administration including filing, scanning and document control
About You
You are a proactive administrator who thrives in a busy healthcare environment and enjoys supporting a high-performing team.
You take pride in delivering quality work, have excellent attention to detail and can confidently manage multiple priorities.
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in medical records, healthcare administration or a similar roleStrong organisational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailBasic Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Desirable
Experience using WebPASKnowledge of pathology databases or healthcare information systems
