The Position
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Curriculum Coordinator to join our leadership team. This is a hands-on role for a outstanding teacher who enjoys working alongside staff, strengthening teaching practice and making a genuine difference to student learning. You'll help lead curriculum, support and mentor teachers, and use data to guide teaching and learning across the school.

Essential Criteria
Commitment to Catholic Education, with a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students




Recognised as an outstanding classroom teacher with contemporary, innovative teaching and assessment practices
Expertise in whole school curriculum planning and development
Experience in a variety of leadership roles
Demonstrated ability to lead effective professional learning for staff using a range of data
Proven ability to mentor and guide teachers and support a differentiated curriculum for all students
Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Murrupurtiyanuwu Catholic Primary School is situated on Bathurst Island, 80 km north of Darwin. The school provides a Quality Catholic Tiwi Education to the 211 children enrolled in classes from Pre-School to Year 6. The school has a strong focus on Literacy, Numeracy and Religious Education as well as to its Indigenous Language and Culture (ILC) program which is taught by Tiwi teachers.
