The Role
Secondary Teachers within Catholic Education NT play an important role in delivering high-quality education and supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
Teaching opportunities may arise across our schools in Darwin, Palmerston, Alice Springs, and remote Northern Territory communities.
Key responsibilities include:
Deliver engaging and effective teaching aligned with curriculum requirements
Foster inclusive and supportive learning environments
Support the wellbeing and holistic development of students
Demonstrate robust classroom management and effective communication
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and the wider school community
Contribute positively to the Catholic identity and mission of the school

About You
We are seeking teachers who:
Hold a recognised teaching qualification in Primary Education
Are eligible for Teacher Registration with the NT Teacher Registration Board
Hold or are eligible to obtain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
Are committed to inclusive teaching and differentiated learning
Thrive in collaborative and supportive school environments

This position involves working with children. Appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with legislation.
