WorkingcloselywiththeCFO,youwillhavetheopportunitytoturnyouraccountingknowledgeintomeaningfulcommercialexperienceacrossreporting,budgeting,forecasting,cashmanagementandfinancesystems.
ThisroleissuitedtoaccountingprofessionalswhowantbroaderresponsibilityandtheopportunitytohavetheirskillsandexperiencegenuinelyvaluedwithinanestablishedAustralianbusiness.
The Prospect
AnestablishedconstructionbusinessinNewSouthWalesislookingforaManagementAccountantwhocandemonstratestrongaccountingfundamentals,reliablefinancialreportingcapabilityandtheconfidencetoworkacrossagrowingproject-basedoperation.
WorkingcloselywiththeCFO,youwillhavetheopportunitytoturnyouraccountingknowledgeintomeaningfulcommercialexperienceacrossreporting,budgeting,forecasting,cashmanagementandfinancesystems.
ThisroleissuitedtoaccountingprofessionalswhowantbroaderresponsibilityandtheopportunitytohavetheirskillsandexperiencegenuinelyvaluedwithinanestablishedAustralianbusiness.
Key Responsibilities
Managemonth-endaccountingprocedures,reconciliationsandgeneralledgeractivities
PrepareP&L;,balancesheetandcashflowreporting
Assistwithannualbudgets,forecastsandoverheadplanning
Monitordailycashmovementsandcontributetocashflowforecasting
Analysefinancialinformationandpreparereportsformanagement
Provideaccuratefinancialinformationtosupportcommercialdecision-making




Reviewandimprovefinanceprocessesandreportingprocedures
Maintaintheaccuracyandintegrityoffinancialdataacrossfinancesystems
Workwithfinancesystemsandintegrationstoensurereliablereporting
SupporttheCFOandfinanceteamwithfinancialandproject-relatedinitiatives
Collaboratewithoperationalteamswithinaproject-drivenconstructionenvironment
Requirements & Eligibility
RelevanttertiaryqualificationinAccounting,Financeorarelatedfield
CAorCPAqualified,oractivelyworkingtowardsqualification
Strongunderstandingofaccountingprinciplesandmonth-endprocesses
Experienceinmanagementreporting,budgetingorfinancialforecasting
StrongExcelandfinancialsystemsskills
Demonstratedanalyticalandproblem-solvingcapability
Strongcommunicationandstakeholdermanagementskills
Abilitytoworkconfidentlywithbothfinanceandoperationalteams
Constructionorproject-basedaccountingexperienceisadvantageous
