As the major specialist referral centre for a large regional catchment, the service provides a comprehensive range of acute, subacute, specialist, community, mental health and aged-care services.

The Opportunity
n
As a Specialist Endocrinologist, you will have the opportunity to provide a broad range of specialist services while contributing to the ongoing development of endocrinology across the region.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
n
n
Providing specialist outpatient endocrinology clinics
n
Inpatient endocrinology consultation services
n
Delivering evidence-based, patient-centred specialist care
n
Working collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams
n
Participating in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement
n
Contributing to clinical guidelines and contemporary models of care
n
Teaching and mentoring medical students, junior doctors and allied health professionals
n
Participating in research and academic activities through an established university partnership
n




Contributing to the development and expansion of endocrinology services
n
Supporting a culture of clinical excellence, education and continuous improvement
n
n
Appointments of up to full time are available, providing flexibility to suit your professional and personal circumstances.

About You
n
We are seeking an experienced Specialist Endocrinologist who is committed to delivering high-quality specialist care and contributing to the continued development of regional health services.
n
You Will Have
n
n
Specialist registration, or eligibility for specialist registration, with AHPRA
n
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Endocrinology, or an equivalent specialist qualification
n
Demonstrated specialist experience in Endocrinology
n
A strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centred care
n
Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
n
An interest in teaching and mentoring
n
An interest in research, clinical governance and service development
n
A commitment to continuing professional development
n
