Prospero Teaching are proud to be partnering with a College in Tarneit, Melbourne, to appoint a passionate and experienced French Teacher for a full-time position commencing Term 1, ****.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic French educator to join a collaborative team of three French teachers and play an important role in the continued growth of French language learning across the College.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to an engaging and progressive French programme, with a particular focus on strengthening language learning across the primary years and developing a strong foundation for students as they progress through the College.

You will have the opportunity to:

Teach French across the primary years

Contribute to the ongoing development of the College's French programme

Help build and strengthen French learning across Prep-Year 3

Develop a clear and engaging language pathway through to Year 9

Inspire students to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing
n
Bring French language and culture to life through authentic learning experiences
n
Design creative, engaging and age-appropriate lessons
n
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the College

Contribute to curriculum planning, development and innovation

Support students' confidence, engagement and achievement

About You
n
We are looking for a teacher who:
n
n
Holds recognised teaching qualifications and is eligible for VIT registration
n
Has experience teaching French within a primary setting
n




Has a strong understanding of language acquisition and curriculum development
n
Is passionate about developing students' love of language and culture
n
Creates engaging, inclusive and purposeful learning experiences
n
Builds positive relationships with students and the wider school community
n
Is confident working collaboratively within a team
n
Brings creativity, enthusiasm and initiative to their teaching
n
Is committed to student wellbeing, learning and achievement
n
Shares the values and ethos of the College
