Candidates applying for this role must have VIT for both Early Childhood and Primary Teaching and be comfortable working across all ages from Preschool to Grade 6.

You'll have:
n
n
Experience working in both Early Childhood and Primary School settings
n
A recognised Teaching qualification and current provisional or full VIT registration for both Early Childhood and Primary
n
A genuine passion for working with children and commitment to child safety
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma, Do Food Safely qualifications (or willingness to obtain)




n
Current Mandatory Reporting (for both Early Years and Non-Government) and National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
n
Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
Flexibility and a proactive, positive attitude, willing to go above and beyond to make any day run as smoothly as possible
n
Reliable transport to travel between services and schools
n
n
Key duties:
n
n
Engage with children in meaningful learning activities
n
Implement and contribute to the development of educational programs that are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and current Victorian curriculum
n
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
n
Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, at all times
n
Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning experiences where required
n
Collaborate and communicate effectively with coworkers
n
Assist with daily routines, as required by the service or school
n
n
Desired Skills & Experience:
n
n
Passionate about both early childhood and Primary education
n
Confidence to work successfully with all children from Preschool to Grade 6
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
A proactive,



hands‐on approach and willingness to contribute wherever needed
n
Ability to work effectively as part of any team
n
Strong understanding of EYLF, VEDYLF, Primary‐age Victorian Curriculum and Child Safety Standards
n
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a casual capacity
n
Commitment to ongoing professional development
