Responsibilities
n
n
Supervise and care for children in accordance with centre policies and safety regulations
n
Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
n
Observe and document children's development, behaviour, and progress
n
Support children's social and emotional development, encouraging positive interactions
n
Maintain a clean, secure, and organized environment
n
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
n




Collaborate with other staff members to ensure quality care and compliance with regulations
n
Adhere to all relevant childcare standards, licensing requirements, and workplace health and safety policies
n
n
Qualifications
n
n
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
n
Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
n
Knowledge of child development principles and safety regulations
n
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
n
Current Working With Children Check
n
First Aid and CPR certification preferred
