Forklift Driver / Yard Worker / General Hand

$*****/hr + Super | Monday–Friday | 1:00pm–9:00pm | Immediate Start

Looking for a hands-on role with great hours and a good hourly rate? Our client is a busy steel galvanising company looking for reliable and hardworking Forklift Drivers / Yard Workers / General Hands to join their team. Multiple positions are available, with the opportunity for long-term work for the right candidates.

Monday–Friday, 1:00pm–9:00pm

What you'll be doing
n
n
Operating forklifts to load and unload steel products
n
Moving and positioning steel products around the yard
n
Assisting with the preparation of steel for galvanising
n
Supporting production staff with day-to-day operations
n
Operating basic tools and equipment
n
General yard duties and housekeeping
n
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Valid Forklift Licence (LF)
n
Previous forklift, labouring, yard or factory experience
n
Comfortable working in a physically demanding, hands-on environment
n
Reliable transport and a robust attendance record
n
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team
n
