The opportunity
n
AsGeneral Manager – Care, you will provide strategic and operational clinical leadership across residential aged care, while providing clinical oversight and supporting integrated care across home care and retirement living.
n
You will play a key role in shaping clinical strategy, strengthening capability and building a culture wheresafe, person-centred care, accountability and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.
n
You will lead:
n
n
Clinical excellence and safe, high-quality care
n
Nursing and care teams, with a focus on capability and development
n
Clinical governance, risk management and continuous improvement
n
Care planning, assessments, documentation and clinical systems
n
Clinical indicators, incidents, medication management and infection prevention
n
Clinical incident, complaint and safeguarding responses
n
Accreditation, audit readiness and quality improvement initiatives
n
Clinical education, supervision and evidence-based practice
n
Relationships with residents, clients, families, medical and allied health professionals
n
Integrated care across residential aged care, home care and retirement living
n
Compliance with theAged Care Act ****, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant clinical obligations
n
n

The person we're looking for
n
You'll be an experienced Registered Nurse and aged care clinical leader who brings strong clinical judgement, governance expertise and a genuine passion for older people.
n
You may currently be a:
n
n
Director of Nursing
n
Clinical Manager
n
Care Manager
n
General Manager
n
Senior Clinical Leader
n
n
Or perhaps you're ready to take that next step into broader organisational leadership.
n
You will bring senior aged care leadership experience and a strong understanding of clinical governance, compliance, quality and risk.
n
But just as importantly, you'll bringemotional intelligence.
n
You'll be someone who can inspire confidence without needing to be the loudest person in the room.
n
Someone who can hold people accountable while still treating them with respect.
n
Someone who understands that culture isn't created through policies and procedures.

Essential requirements
n
n
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
Demonstrated senior clinical leadership experience within aged care
n
National Police Check
n
Aged Care Worker Screening Clearance, or ability to obtain
n
Relevant immunisation evidence in accordance with organisational requirements
n
n
Highly regarded
n
n
Postgraduate qualifications in aged care, clinical leadership, management or a related discipline
n
Experience leading accreditation, registration and quality improvement programs
n
Experience across residential aged care, home care and/or retirement living
n
n
