Job Description
We are seeking a QCE Scientist – Instrumentation to join our Quality Control Excellence team. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert in laboratory instrumentation, supporting process automation systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

You will lead instrumentation projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to global standardization efforts across laboratory systems and processes.

This role will be based in Broadmeadows and is a fixed term contract until August ****.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and support instrument qualification and validation projects
n
Manage instrument lifecycle (maintenance, calibration, system reviews)
n
Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and lab system
n
Support and enhance lab automation systems (LIMS / LES)
n




Drive continuous improvement and process standardization initiatives
n
Ensure compliance with cGMP, quality, and data integrity requirements
n
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (QA, Engineering, IT)
n
Provide technical support, training, and SME expertise
n
n
Your Experience
n
n
2–5 years' experience in cGMP Quality
n
Experience in instrument validation and lifecycle
n
Exposure to laboratory systems (e.g. LIMS, automation platforms)
n
Solid problem-solving and investigation skills
n
Knowledge of GLP, method validation, and quality systems
