Job Description
SPEECH PATHOLOGIST | 4-DAY WEEK | $100K-$115K | GEORGES HALL, SYDNEY
n
You want a caseload that is varied and meaningful. You want a team small enough to actually know each other, a schedule that respects your life, and a clinic where clinical growth is built into the week rather than bolted on as an afterthought.
n
That is what we built.
n
ABOUT US
n
Embracing Arms is an NDIS-registered speech therapy and support work practice based in Georges Hall, Sydney. Founded by two sisters whose two brothers were diagnosed with autism and intellectual disability. We have 34 five-star Google reviews and a team that genuinely shows up for each other.
n
THE ROLE
n
We are looking for a Speech Pathologist with 2 or more years of post-graduation experience, ready to grow within a small and supportive clinical team.
n
You will carry a mixed caseload working with children aged 2 to 12, adolescents, and young adults across language, literacy, social communication, and fluency presentations primarily with a disability.
n
This is a four-day week position. Not a trial. Not something you earn over time. It is how we work, from day one. We believe great clinicians do their best work when they have time to recharge.
n
WHAT YOU WILL DO
n
n
Assessments and intervention across NDIS, Medicare, and Private funding streams (children, adolescents, and young adults)
n
Work alongside families, carers, schools, and support networks as a genuine partner
n
Collaborate with a small team including our support workers
n
NDIS documentation and reports,
with admin support
n
n
WHAT WE OFFER
n
n
$100,000 to $115,000 total package including 12% superannuation, based on experience
n
Performance incentive: exceed your agreed session target over a quarter and earn a share of the additional revenue you generate
n
Permanent employment position (full time or part-time to suit your needs)
n
Permanent four-day working week from day one
n
Based in our clinic in Georges Hall, with community and school visits as part of the hybrid model
n
Internal clinical supervision from Celine, co-founder and lead Speech Pathologist, built into how we work week to week
n
$1,500 annual PD budget, paid by the clinic upfront
n
Two paid professional development days per year
n
Travel allowance up to $100 per week, adjusted to clinic and community visit mix
n
Company-provided iPad and phone
n
Admin support and online practice management system
n
Regular team case discussion
n
Monthly social events and genuine team culture
n
Annual growth and development review at 12 months
n
n
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
n
n
Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible)
n
2 or more years post-graduation experience in speech pathology
n
NDIS experience valued, not required
n
Valid driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
n
NDIS Workers Screening clearance and Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
n
Someone who wants clinical growth, not just clinical volume
