An opportunity has arisen to join a growing Australian investment management business with a significant real estate investment platform and expanding private credit capability.
n
With a highly experienced investment team and continued growth planned across the business, they are now looking to strengthen their middle-office capability with a Fund & Investment Operations professional who can work across the full investment lifecycle.
n
This is a broad, hands‐on role spanning fund administration, transaction support, investor servicing, compliance and operational processes. It would suit someone who enjoys being close to the investments and wants greater ownership.

The role
n
Working closely with the investment, finance and senior leadership teams, responsibilities will include:
n

Supporting investor reporting including NAV statements, distributions and capital call/drawdown notices
n
Preparing and tracking capital calls across fund investors and co‐investors
n
Maintaining capital call registers and coordinating with fund administrators and registry providers
n
Supporting fund reconciliations and
quarterly/management
reporting
n
Assisting with loan settlements, including drawdowns, redraws and repayments
n
Managing conditions precedent checklists and supporting transaction due diligence
n




Coordinating AML/KYC requirements for borrowers and investors
n
Supporting the establishment and administration of SPVs for current transactions
n
Managing investor onboarding, queries and ongoing communications
n
Preparing and maintaining DDQs and investor information
n
Supporting board and Investment Committee administration and governance requirements
n
Maintaining transaction documentation, templates and data rooms
n
Helping develop SOPs and improve recurring operational processes
n

About you
n
n
You will have experience within investment management, funds management, private credit, private debt, real estate investment or a related alternative investment environment.
n
You'll understand how investment and fund operations work in practice and be comfortable coordinating across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
n
Exposure to areas such as capital calls, investor reporting, settlements, fund administration, AML/KYC or investor servicing would be particularly relevant.
n

Just as importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys working in a growing environment where processes are continuing to evolve.
n
You'll be organised, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership rather than operating within a narrowly defined remit.
