Are you a CA-qualified accountant ready to move from professional services into a commercially focused industry role?

We are looking for a technically strong and commercially curious accountant to join Close the Loop as our Group FP&A; Manager.
n
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will help the business understand its performance, plan for the future and make well-informed commercial decisions. You will work with senior leaders and finance teams across multiple businesses and regions, turning financial information into transparent insights and practical recommendations.
n
This opportunity would suit someone from a Big Four or established mid-tier accounting firm who has strong financial modelling and analytical skills and is ready to build their career in FP&A.;

What you will be doing
n
Lead Group budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
n
Prepare management and Board reporting, explaining performance, risks and opportunities.
n
Partner with senior, operational and commercial leaders to support better business decisions.
n
Provide analysis for business cases, capital projects and strategic initiatives.
n
Support Group treasury, hedging and covenant reporting.
n
Improve financial reporting, planning processes and the use of data and technology.
n
Who we are looking for
n
You are likely to have approximately five years of relevant experience and be looking for an opportunity to apply your accounting foundation in a more forward-looking and commercially focused role.
n
You will ideally bring:
n
n
A CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.




n
Experience within a Big Four or established mid-tier accounting firm, including audit, business services or advisory.
n
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
n
A sound understanding of financial statements and technical accounting.
n
The ability to analyse information, identify what is driving the result and explain it clearly.
n
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and asking constructive questions.
n
Strong attention to detail, ownership and follow-through.
n
A genuine interest in moving into FP&A; and helping leaders make better decisions.
n
Experience with data analytics, business intelligence tools, foreign currencies, treasury or covenant reporting would be highly regarded.
n
An interest in using AI tools to improve analysis and finance processes would also be an advantage.
n
