About the Role
n
This position is suited to a recent Civil Engineering graduate looking to start their career in civil construction, or a final-year Civil Engineering student looking to gain hands‐on industry experience while completing their degree.
n
You will work closely with our Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Project Managers and Site Supervisors, gaining exposure to both site operations and project delivery.
n
The role will provide practical experience across planning, site coordination, quality, safety, procurement, subcontractor management and project documentation.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with the day-to-day delivery and coordination of civil construction projects
n
Assist Project and Site Engineers with site activities and planning
n
Monitor construction progress and assist with daily site coordination
n
Review construction drawings, specifications and project requirements
n
Assist with site measurements, quantities and material take-offs
n
Assist with procurement of materials and coordination of suppliers
n
Assist with subcontractor coordination and monitoring of works
n
Prepare and maintain QA documentation, ITPs,



inspection records and project documentation
n
Assist with RFIs, site records, progress reporting and other project correspondence
n
Assist with WHS and environmental requirements on site
n
Attend site inspections and project meetings where required
n
Work with supervisors and site teams to identify and resolve construction issues
n
Maintain accurate records of works completed on site
n
Support the wider project team as required
n

About You
n
To be considered for this opportunity, you should:
n
n
Have completed, or be in the final year of, a Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent
n
Have a genuine interest in civil construction and site-based project delivery
n
Be willing to work across both site and office environments
n
Have valuable written and verbal communication skills
n
Be organised and able to manage multiple tasks
n
Be willing to learn and take on increasing responsibility
n
Have good attention to detail
n
Be comfortable working as part of a project and site team
n
Hold a current Australian driver's licence
n
Have Australian work rights
n
n
Previous experience in civil construction, engineering, council projects or site-based work will be highly regarded but is not essential.
