PainAid Clinic PainAid is seeking an experienced Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join our team on a temporary casual basis from 2 November **** to 9 December ****.

Days: Monday and Wednesday

Location: PainAid Clinic

Work Location: In person

Pay: $***** – $***** per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week

About the Role
n
This position would suit an experienced AIN who is confident working autonomously within a medical or specialist clinic environment.
n
The role will involve supporting the medical team with the day-to-day clinical requirements of the practice, including patient preparation, maintaining clinical rooms, assisting with clinical procedures where appropriate, infection-control requirements and general clinical support.
n
Essential Criteria
n
n
Applicants must meet one of the following: Be an experienced Assistant in Nursing,



preferably with previous experience working in a medical centre, specialist practice or similar clinical setting; or Be a second- or third-year nursing student with relevant clinical experience.
n
Applicants must also demonstrate: Previous experience working in a clinical environment
n
Ability to work independently and confidently
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Excellent organisation and time-management skills
n
A professional and patient-focused approach
n
Understanding of infection control and clinical safety requirements
n
Reliability and the ability to commit to the full period of employment
n
Previous clinical experience is essential, as this position involves working independently.
