Austek Roads (ACT) are seeking a skilled full time Spreader Truck Driver to join our team in Hume, ACT.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Safely operate heavy vehicles, plant and equipment
n
Follow direction of Crew leader, site foreperson, project manager and other senior managers
n
Perform pre-operational checks and maintenance on all assigned equipment
n
Identify and report any equipment issues or maintenance needs
n
Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Current driver's licence (HC/HR) and ability to obtain necessary construction certifications
n
Asphalt/Seal or roadworks exp
n
White card
n
Silica and Asbestos awareness training
n
Proficient in the operation and maintenance of bitumen spraying equipment
n
Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve consistent, quality results
n




Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the construction crew
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety
