Job Description
A well-established regional Queensland public health service is seeking a Consultant Geriatrician to join its Department of Internal Medicine's Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services.

You'll be based in a vibrant coastal city of around 70,000 residents, roughly four hours' drive north of Brisbane (or a short domestic flight), sitting on the southern edge of the Outstanding Barrier Reef. Think unspoilt beaches, a warm subtropical climate year-round, and the amenities of a mature regional centre — without capital-city traffic or housing prices.

Remuneration package — total value up to $564,548 p.a.

Base salary: $223,136 – $282,912 p.a. (FTE) or $****** – $****** p.h. (part-time)

About you
n

Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Geriatric Medicine, or eligibility for RACP fellowship / SIMG assessment pathway
n
Current or eligible AHPRA specialist registration in Geriatric Medicine
n
Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or eligibility for a suitable visa
n
A collaborative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for regional practice
