Warehouse Storeperson (Operations Technician)

About the Role:
n
The primary purpose of the Operations Technician's role is to become a part of a team that will manage the integrity, security and value of an IT asset from the moment it arrives at our facility to when we organise its dispatch.
n
We are looking for someone who is available to work day shifts (from 7.30am to 3.30pm), Monday to Friday. Experience in warehouse duties including receipt/dispatch, order picking, data entry, and have basic IT knowledge and excellent customer service.
n
Experience in ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) software or extensive IT hardware experience would be considered an advantage.

Main Responsibilities:
n
Be actively involved in all Quality, Compliance and WH&S; programs and activities
n
Assisting in the collection of IT assets from other suppliers and the delivery back to the warehouse receiving team
n
Receiving goods, completing chain of custody, secure and secure storage, assigning location and unique ID in the warehouse
n
Sanitise the data bearing device according to supplier specifications and isolate faulty equipment for Hard Drive Management
n
Pick and Package processed items for resale for our customer's orders
n
Consolidating scrap and commodities for rapid dispatch
n
Ensure that a high standard of quality is maintained throughout all systems and processes
n
Assist with completing deployment reporting including daily, customer sign off and asset reports
n
The Position Requires the Following Attributes:
n
Experience working as part of a team
n
Physically fit and energetic, manual handling required
n
Desktop hardware knowledge with ability to test PCs, tablets & laptops
n
Clear Police record (a police check will be required before commencing)
n
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
n
Forklift Licence (or willing to obtain) advantageous
n
Previous similar experience in a Warehouse or in the ITAD industry
n
This role is subject to the Storage Services and Wholesale Award (MA******).
